The highly intense second Test between Pakistan and Bangladesh witnessed an excellent moment when Litton Das scored his fourth hundred in Test cricket, however he kept away from speaking highly of the milestone.

Even as the expectations and context of the match were huge, Litton Das deflected any admiration, saying his most satisfying innings remains another century that came against Sri Lanka in 2022.

At the end of the third day's play, Litton's response showed his humility by being more concerned about team success than personal success. He remarked:

"Not really-my best knock. I scored 141 vs Sri Lanka; it was the same situation. This is a good total. I am lucky to get the opportunity, and I am happy," reported India Today.

The most important partnership during the innings was between Litton and Miraz. They steadied the innings after Shakib Al Hasan fell early.

"We did not plan for very long. When I started with Shakib, he got out early. When Miraz came in, the only thing that we discussed was how to break their momentum. Credit goes to Miraz. I was injured after I got hit by the ball. His shot-making put Pakistan on the back foot."

Bangladesh At The Cusp Of A Historic Win

The second innings saw the hosts collapse once again. With Babar Azam and Shan Masood under immense criticism, this was a chance for them to make amends however, the Men In Green were down and almost out at 81/6. Eventually, a solid partnership between Mohd. Rizwan and Agha Salman took the total to 172.

At the time of writing, Bangladesh need 143 runs to win however rain has interrupted play at Rawalpindi.
