On Wednesday, October 2, West Indies legend Chris Gayle, who is on an official visit to India, met PM Narendra Modi at the Hyderabad House in New Delhi. Gayle, who is a part of the Jamaican delegate, who are on their first-ever diplomatic visit to India, greeted the Indian PM with a 'Namaste' gesture.
The RCB legend shared a video on his social media account stating that he was honoured to meet PM Modi. In the video, Gayle can be seen greeting PM Modi with Folded Hands.
"Honour to have met with the prime minister of India @narendraModi. Jamaica to India #OneLove," he captioned the post.

Even PM Modi interacted with Gayle for a while and also presented the Jamaican counterpart with a cricket bat signed by the Indian cricket team. It is worth noting that it is Jamaican PM's first-ever bilateral visit to India in the history. Taking to social media the Jamaican PM heaped praise on Universe Boss. He said:
"Chris Gayle is not just an icon in Jamaica; he is also widely known, respected, and adored here in India for his cricketing prowess."
