India has completed a convincing series win over Bangladesh in the two-match Test series. They have dominated the proceedings in both games and have won the series without giving the visitors any kind of sniff during the two games.

Throughout the two games, we saw some great performances from the Indian players. In this article, we will analyse the players' performance and impact and rate their performances.

Rohit Sharma - 5/10

Matches: 2 Innings: 4 Runs: 42 Average: 10.50

The Indian skipper did not have a great series if we look at the volume of runs he scored. However, Rohit Sharma's 23 off 11 balls during the second Test match set the tone for the rest of the batters and was key in setting up the team's win. Besides, Sharma was also proactive as captain and made great use of his resources in both games.

Yashasvi Jaiswal - 7/10

Matches: 2 Innings: 4 Runs: 189 Average: 47.25

The young Indian opener built on his reputation and maintained his consistency in the format. Barring the second innings of the first Test, Yashasvi Jaiswal had a half-century in all the other innings. Besides scoring runs consistently, he did it at a great pace, setting the tone for the new brand of cricket India endorsed. However, he could have stretched his knocks and made them bigger scores, leaving greater impacts.

Shubman Gill - 6/10

Matches: 2 Innings: 4 Runs: 164 Average: 54.66

The Indian batter played a brilliant knock in the second innings of the first Test. Shubman Gill's hundred in the innings came at a great clip and went a long way in setting up India's convincing win. However, he did not make much of an impact in the other three innings.

Virat Kohli - 5/10

Matches: 2 Innings: 4 Runs: 99 Average: 33.00

The Indian superstar struggled to find rhythm in the series. Virat Kohli looked good in the last innings of the series and played a decent part in taking the team home. But in the other innings, things did not look suitable for the batter.

KL Rahul - 6/10

Matches: 2 Innings: 3 Runs: 106 Average: 53.00

The Indian middle-order batter did not play a significant role with the bat in the tournament. Although KL Rahul looked in decent touch in the opportunities he got, his knocks did not significantly impact the games.

Rishabh Pant - 7/10

Matches - 2 Innings: 4 Runs: 161 Average: 53.66

The Indian wicket-keeper batter left a great impact with the bat throughout the series. In the first innings of the first match, Rishabh Pant played a gutsy knock under pressure and stabilised things for the team. Even though he did not convert the knock into a big one, in the second innings, he made up for it with a fiery hundred, setting up India's win.

Ravichandran Ashwin - 9/10

Matches: 2 Runs: 114 Average: 57.00 Wickets: 11 Bowling Average: 19.27

The veteran Indian all-rounder showed why he is the biggest match-winner for India in the purest format. In the first match of the series, Ravichandran Ashwin scored a hundred under pressure and followed it up with a five-wicket haul in the second innings. In the next game, even though he did not deliver with the bat, he did his job with the ball. The impact that he left with his all-round abilities earned him the Player of the Series award.

Ravindra Jadeja - 8/10

Matches: 2 Runs: 94 Average: 47.00 Wickets: 9 Bowling Average: 15.44

Ravindra Jadeja was one of the prime reasons India won the first Test of the series. The all-rounder stitched a game-changing partnership with Ravichandran Ashwin and then played the perfect supporting role to the off-spinner with the ball. In the second Test, Ravindra Jadeja triggered Bangladesh's collapse in the second innings, which made India's win easier.

Jasprit Bumrah - 8/10

Matches: 2 Innings:4 Wickets: 11 Bowling Average: 12.81

The Indian ace pacer was leading the contingent in the series, and he did the job perfectly. Jasprit Bumrah was a strike bowler, picking up wickets at the most crucial stages. Whenever Rohit Sharma turned to his best bowler for wickets, Bumrah delivered.

Akash Deep - 6/10

Matches: 2 Innings: 4 Wickets: 5 Bowling Average: 20.40

The young Indian pacer carried the rhythm he had in the domestic arena to this series. Even though the number of wickets might not speak in his favour, Akash Deep did a great job of keeping the pressure on the batters whenever he was given the ball.

Mohammed Siraj - 4.5/10

Matches: 2 Innings: 4 Wickets: 4 Bowling Average - 34.50

It was a disappointing series for Mohammed Siraj. He failed to find the rhythm needed to pick up wickets consistently. Although he redeemed himself to some extent with a couple of wickets in the final innings of the series, his performance was way below par.
