The Legends League Cricket 2024 season is set to make its return through the upcoming third edition of the tournament. Notably, a segment of the competition will be played in Srinagar, thus marking a return of live-action cricket to Kashmir after nearly 40 years.

The LLC T20 2024 season will feature the likes of Chris Gayle, Irfan Pathan, Dinesh Karthik, Harbhajan Singh, Suresh Raina as well as current Indian head coach Gautam Gambhir. The tournament will kick-off on September 20 with a match in Jodhpur and will conclude with the final on October 16.

Kashmir to host Legends League Cricket 2024 matches

In a historic occasion for cricket fans in Kashmir, several international and Indian stars will be seen performing in Srinagar for the upcoming LLC T20 2024 season. The historic Bakshi Stadium in Srinagar has been assigned to host the final of the four-week long event, scheduled to be held between September 20 and October 16 across four Indian cities.

LLC co-founder Raman Raheja claimed that the final of the LLC 2024 season will mark a remarkable event for cricket fans in Kashmir, as they will be able to witness live action after nearly four decades. Raheja added that the match will also allow participating cricketers to experience the “stunning beauty” of Kashmir.

Apart from Srinagar, the other three cities to host LLC 2024 matches are Jodhpur, Surat and Jammu. The Barkatullah Khan Stadium in Jodhpur will host the opening game of the competition on September 20.

The LLC 2024 season is set to be graced by tournament debutants and former Indian international stars Shikhar Dhawan and Dinesh Karthik. Batting heavyweights Chris Gayle, Aaron Finch and Ross Taylor are among the overseas attractions to feature in the competition.

Indian cricketers like Irfan Pathan, Suresh Raina, Harbhajan Singh, Ambati Rayudu as well as current national head coach Gautam Gambhir are also expected to participate for their respective teams in the LLC 2024 season.
