In an unexpected and bizarre moment, a snake charmer was spotted in attendance at the Sri Lanka-Bangladesh Test match at Galle International Stadium. The man was sitting calmly on the ground with 2 snakes as he enjoyed some cricketing action.
Sri Lanka is hosting Bangladesh in a 2-game Test series. The first match went on floors in Galle earlier this week. Despite day 2 getting washed out, Bangladesh posted 495 runs on the board with significant contributions from Najmul Shanto (148), Mushfiqur Rahim (163), and Litton Das (90).
In the second inning, Pathum Nissanka’s 187 helped Sri Lanka post 485 runs. However, Bangladesh dominated in the third inning.

In the third inning, Najmul Shamto scored another century (125*) as Bangladesh set up a 296-run target for Sri Lanka on day 5. However, amid a tense game, the cameraman captured a bizarre scene.
A snake charmer was spotted enjoying the Test cricket action with 2 snakes at the Galle Stadium. He sat calmly and held a snake in his hand casually as the camera shot the bizarre scene. A monkey was also seen in the frame, which left the fans stunned.

That being said, Taijul Islam led the charge for Bangladesh in the fourth inning, chipping 3 quick wickets.
Sri Lanka were reduced to 48/4 on day 5, and Kamindu Mendis and Dhananjaya de Silva were striving hard in the middle to somehow save this Test match. They succeeded as the match ended in a draw.
The series comprises 2 Test games. The first one is underway in Galle. The 2nd Test will be held in Colombo from June 25 to 29.
Once the red ball action concludes, a 3-game ODI series will commence on July 2, followed by a 3-game T20I series on July 10.
