Akash Deep Headlines India’s Big Win To Level Series

Team India crushed England by 336 runs on Day 5 of the second Test at Edgbaston to level the five-match series 1-1. Defending 608 runs for a win, Indian fast bowler Akash Deep (6-99) picked up six wickets to envelop the entire English innings for just 271 in 68.1 overs. Akash’s six-wicket haul also helped him complete 10 for the match to snare his career-best Test figures.

Prasidh Krishna and spinners Ravindra Jadeja and Washington Sundar also chipped in with a wicket each. For England, Jamie Smith top-scored in the innings with a quick 88 from 99 balls.

Wiaan Mulder 264 Takes SA To 465-4 By Stumps Vs ZIM

South Africa mounted 465-4 from 88 overs by the time of stumps on Day 1 of the second Test against Zimbabwe in Bulawayo. Batting first, South Africa lost both openers earlier in the day to Tanaka Chivanga and Wellington Masakadza to slip to 23-2. Interim captain Wiaan Mulder at number three led South Africa’s speedy recovery by smearing 264* runs from just 259 balls with 34 fours and three huge sixes.

David Bedingham and Lhuan-dre Pretorius also clubbed quick fifties in the middle-order before falling to Chivanga and Kundai Matigimu respectively.

Faf Du Plessis, Adam Milne Steer TSK To The Top

Texas Super Kings jumped to the top of the MLC 2025 points table after blanking Seattle Orcas by 51 runs in match 28 of the season in Lauderhill. Batting first, the TSK carted 188-4 from 20 overs, with captain Faf du Plessis top-scoring in the innings with his fiery 52-ball 91. Shubham Ranjane also launched three huge sixes in his exhilarating knock of 65* runs off 41 balls.

Chasing 189, Seattle Orcas folded up for just 137 in 18.4 overs. Adam Milne snared sensational figures for the Super Kings with 5-23, and the New Zealand speedster was also assisted with two wickets apiece from spinners Noor Ahmad and Akeal Hosein.

IDream Tiruppur Tamizhans Blank Dragons To Win TNPL 2025

IDream Tiruppur Tamizhans defeated Dindigul Dragons by 118 runs to lift the TNPL 2025 crown in Dindigul. Batting first, half-centuries from openers Amit Sathvik (65 off 34) and Tushar Raheja (77 off 46) and a sizzling 12-ball 25* from V Anovankar catapulted IDream Tiruppur Tamizhans to 220-5 from 20 overs.

In response, the Dragons folded up for just 102 in 14.4 overs. For IDream Tiruppur Tamizhans, bowlers Ragupathy Silambarasan, Mohan Prasath and Esakkimuthu A picked up two wickets each in the innings.

Shamar Takes Four, But West Indies Wrecked Before Lunch

Australia added just 22 more runs to their overnight total to reach 243 from 71.3 overs in their second innings on Day 4. Shamar Joseph picked up two wickets in the morning session to complete a sensational four-wicket haul.

Left to chase 277 runs for a win, West Indies lost each of their top four batters by the time of reaching just 33 in 12.4 overs before the lunch break. Mitchell Starc, Josh Hazlewood, Pat Cummins and Beau Webster all picked up a wicket each to seize early momentum for Australia.
