Abhishek Sharma, Shubman Gill Blow Away Pakistan In Super 4

Team India blanked arch-rivals Pakistan by six wickets and seven balls to spare in their high-octane Super Four clash of the 2025 Men’s T20 Asia Cup. Pakistan opener Sahibzada Farhan cracked 58 off 45 balls to elevate the ‘Men in Green’ to a competitive 171-5 in 20 overs. For India, Shivam Dube picked up two crucial wickets, including that of Sahibzada. Chasing 172, Indian openers Abhishek Sharma and Shubman Gill made lightwork of Pakistan total by racing to a 105-run partnership in less than 10 overs. Abhishek headlined India’s comprehensive win with an attacking 74-run knock in just 39 balls.

Trivedi, Kundu And Henil Patel Take India U19 1-0 Up

India Under-19 outclassed their Australian counterparts by seven wickets and with nearly 20 overs to spare in the first youth ODI to take a 1-0 lead in the three-match series in Brisbane. Bowling first, Kishan Kumar and Kanishk Chouhan picked up two wickets each while Henil Patel dashed Australia U19’s batting line-up with a scintillating three-fer to limit the hosts to just 225-9 despite John James’ fighting 77*. In response, teenage prodigy Vaibhav Suryavanshi blasted 38 off 22 balls and Vedant Trivedi and Abhigyan Kundu charted unbeaten half-centuries to take India Under-19 past the finishing line with relative ease.

Jordan Cox, Adil Rashid Crash Irish Party In Series-Decider

England walloped Ireland by six wickets and 17 balls to spare in the third T20I to clinch the three-match series 2-0. Jordan Cox headlined England’s run-chase of 155 runs with a sublime 55-run knock from just 35 balls with four fours and four huge sixes in Dublin. Tom Banton also scored an unbeaten 37* off just 26 to seal the deal for the visitors.

Mithun Manhas Set To Become Next BCCI President

Former Delhi cricketer Mithun Manhas is set to become the next president of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). The 45-year-old has reportedly emerged as the top candidate to take over the role, after it was left vacant following the resignation of India’s World Cup winning player Roger Binny citing BCCI’s age criteria. Mithun Manhas, a veteran of 157 first-class matches, pipped Harbhajan Singh in the presidential race.
