It was a decent batting effort from Pakistan but the real villian for India was none other than their fielding. Opener Sahibzada Farhan played a wonderful 58 run knock off 45 deliveries while Faheem Ashraf scored 20 not out off 8 in the end to help Pakistan post 171 for 5 after the end of their 20 overs. From the bowling lineup, Shivam Dube broke the momentum of the Pakistan innings with his two wickets for 33 runs in his 4 overs whereas Hardik Pandya and Kuldeep Yadav grabbed one wicket apiece.

However, the biggest point to note here is the fact that Jasprit Bumrah proved the most expensive of the lot as he gave away 45 runs in his four overs without any success while he leaked runs at an economy of 11.2. The game was going very well in Pakistan's favour but India came back strong in the middle overs to pull things back whereas later, some fluent hitting in the last three overs helped Pakistan reach a par score in the end. It will now be interesting to see if India can chase down the score or will Pakistan bowlers dominate. Don't go anywhere as we'll come back shortly for the chase. India need 172 to win in 20 overs!!!
