Virat Kohli recently scored 70*(44) in the recent game between Gujarat Titans (GT) and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in a 16-over run chase of 200 runs and post-game interview, he also had something to say to his critics. Simon Doull, however, didn't seem very happy with Virat caring about the critics when he talked to Cricbuzz.

Kohli, after winning the game had called out his critics, saying: "All people who talk about strike-rates and me not playing spin well, talk about these things (stats). It's just about doing my job. They can talk anything they want to. It's kind of muscle memory for me now."

Simon Doull, when he recently talked about this didn't seem happy about the RCB opener responding to the people in the interview.

"Why is Virat Kohli bothering about what's being written on him? The bloke is such a good player, he shouldn't bother about the rubbish that some people wrote or why people are reading and telling him?" said Doull.

The Kiwi wants Kohli to just enjoy the game the way he does and not care about the outside noise as he knows what's best for him.

Virat currently sits second in the orange cap leaderboard with 500 runs in 10 innings so far while striking at 146.49 and a century and four fifties to his name. Only Ruturaj Gaikwad with 509 runs is ahead of him.
