The ' Ball Tampering' controversy started by Inzamam-ul-Haq is refusing to die down, as in the latest events, Inzamam has again sparked a major row by hitting back at Rohit Sharma over his reply to these allegations during a press conference.

After India stunned Australia on June 24, Inzamam, appearing on a Pakistani news channel, alleged that Arshdeep Singh was involved in some kind of ball tampering because of his ability to reverse the ball. 

Rohit broke his silence on the matter in a press conference ahead of the India-England semi-final tie, where he slammed Inzamam for his narrow-mindedness and also justified how Arshdeep was able to reverse the ball.

“What should I say now about this? You are playing in such hot sun, the wicket is so dry, the ball reverses automatically. It's happening for all the teams, not only ours. All the teams are reverse swinging. Sometimes, it's important to open your mind,” Rohit had said.

In the latest events, a video has been doing rounds on the internet where Haq hit back at Rohit and remarked that the Indian skipper should not teach him about how a ball reverses. 

"The first thing is he (Rohit Sharma) mentioned that reverse swing is happening, just like we said earlier. Secondly, Rohit Sharma doesn’t need to explain to us how reverse swing occurs, in what intensity of sunlight it happens, or on which pitch it occurs. Those who teach you these kinds of things don’t need to be told these things. We should tell him that such conversations are not appropriate,” said Inzamam.

In the end, Inzamam also clarified that he didn't accuse Arshdeep of ball-tampering rather urged umpires to keep their eyes open.
