Indian skipper, Rohit Sharma has backed his bowler and responded to Pakistan legend, Inzamam ul Haq who recently accused Arshdeep Singh of ball tampering citing the reverse swing that the left-arm pacer got.

Following the recent allegations from the ex-Pakistan captain, Rohit was asked about his thoughts on his comments to which Rohit pointed out the favorable conditions in the Caribbean and supported his bowlers while dismissing the claims of tampering.

Talking about the claims, Rohit Sharma said where would it reverse if not in hot and dry conditions of the Caribbean,

'Thoda dimag kholna zaruri hai. It's hot here and dry pitches. If it won't reverse swing here, where will it be? We aren't playing in England or South Africa," said Sharma.

The allegations from Inzamam emerged after Arshdeep's recent three wicket haul against Australia where he got the ball reversing and troubled the Aussie batters while finishing his spell with 3/37 from his four overs.

In the ongoing T20 World Cup, Singh has enjoyed a great run of form while leading the Indian pace attack with the new ball. So far, he has taken 15 wickets in 6 innings, being India's highest wicket-taker while just being a wicket behind Afghanistan's Fazalhaq Farooqi's 16 in 7 innings. His best figures of 4/9 came against the hosts, USA in New York.
