When RCB lost Virat Kohli who had played magnificently, it seemed like the game was slipping away from them. However, Dinesh Karthik had different ideas. Teaming up with the impact player Mahipal Lomror, he steered RCB towards victory. 

To the casual viewer, Karthik's innings appeared flawless. Yet, the Tamil Nadu wicketkeeper himself insists it wasn't as smooth as it seemed. He credited Mahipal Lomror for easing the pressure, enabling him to unleash his explosive performance towards the end.

"I wasn't completely in control, but later I felt good. We needed a partnership. Thankfully, Mahipal (Lomror) and myself stitched a crucial stand. Lomror took the pressure off me. Harshal (Patel) is a clever customer. I needed to wait for the right balls to play my shots. Lomror looked calm, told him to stay the way he began his innings," Dinesh Karthik said after smashing an unbeaten 10-ball 28.

Dinesh Karthik has kicked off this IPL season with a stellar performance as RCB's finisher. In the opening match against CSK, he joined forces with Anuj Rawat towards the end, crafting an unbeaten 38 off just 26 balls. 

Facing Punjab Kings, he continued his remarkable form, smashing unbeaten 28 runs off a mere 10 balls. Karthik's knack for effortlessly moving from the commentary booth to the field and shining with his skills is unparalleled.
