Pakistan's recently appointed white-ball captain, Mohammad Rizwan, talked about the upcoming Champions Trophy 2025 in February and made a few remarks about the Indian team and the Indian players.
Recently, Rizwan gave a press conference where he remarked that he would love for the Indian team to come to Pakistan for the Champions Trophy. He also highlighted the love Pakistan received from the Indians during the 2023 World Cup. He assured the Indian players that they would receive similar hospitality if they came to Pakistan.

"Pakistan fans love Indian players; we received love in India during the 2023 World Cup. I'm unsure if they're coming for the Champions Trophy, but one thing is certain - if they come, they'll receive an awesome welcome here," Rizwan said during a press conference.
It is worth noting that when Pakistan arrived in Hyderabad, India for their first two matches of ODI World Cup 2023, the fans arrived in huge numbers at the airport to see a glimpse of the Pakistani cricketers.
Several Pakistani stars were amazed by the warm welcome and also took to social media handles to express their gratitude towards the Indian crowd.
Pakistan Lose Gary Kirsten Before Champions Trophy 2025
While the Pakistani players and fans are excited about the Champions Trophy 2025, the Men in Green have dealt a heavy blow ahead of the prestigious fifty-over event as Gary Kirsten resigned from the head coach position just six months after penning a deal with Pakistan.
Several cricket pundits, including ex-PCB chairman Ramiz Raja, slammed the decision. There were reports that Kirsten was not a part of the selection process, which is why he opted to step down.
