Ever since former Pakistan all-rounder Abdul Razzaq's sexist remark on Aishwarya Rai went viral, social media has been busy picking out other controversial statements by the former player, where a clip of ex-Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Ramiz Raja caught people's eye.

In the said clip, Raja seated in a comedy show as a guest, could be seen laughing at a racial joke about former West Indies cricket legend Sir Vivian Richards, apart from taking a jibe at his former wife Neena Gupta.

Displeased, the daughter of Richards and Gupta, Masaba Gupta has lashed out at Raja's behavior, who despite being a sporting celebrity did not voice against such a derogatory joke.

Taking to the social media platform 'X', Gupta, who is a well-known celebrity fashion designer, explained how laughing at a joke, which feels outdated is "sickening".

Here's what Gupta posted

“Dear Ramiz Raja ( sir ) grace is a quality few have. My father, mother and I have it in spades. You have none. Sickening to see you laugh on national TV in Pakistan at something the world stopped laughing at about 30 years back. Step into the future. All 3 of us are here with our chin up. #ramizraja,”

The controversial joke by the comedian is based around Richards' skin colour, where the concerned artist refers to the Windies great as 'Kaalia', which translated into English means 'Black'.

Raja along with other guests laughed off the remark quite nonchalantly, which left a poor impression on people.
