After a long gap of 12 years, Team India have qualified for the final of an ICC Cricket World Cup 2023, after beating New Zealand in the semi-final on Wednesday.

In the high-voltage encounter at Mumbai's Wankhede Stadium, India led by Rohit Sharma displayed dominance with the bat, and then folded a resilient Black Caps side, to notch up a 70-run win to book a place in the final on Sunday.

For India, former India captain Virat Kohli (117) and Shreyas Iyer (105) slammed respective centuries, while Shubman Gill scored a solid 80*. Mohammed Shami rattled the Kiwi top-order and claimed a record-breaking seven-fer, to become the leading wicket-taker in the World Cup.

Now, in a video shared by BCCI.tv, one can get behind-the-scenes action from the Wankhede, that exhibits the relief on Indian players' faces having come out of a tough semi-final clash, which Sharma and Co. had to earn with hard work in the middle.

The clip showcases players like Kohli, Shami, and Surya Kumar Yadav hugging Indian support staff members.  Ravichandran Ashwin could also be seen kissing Shami's hand. Leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal also makes a special appearance, and could be seen interacting with Kohli, Bumrah, and Ishan Kishan.

Upon arriving at the team hotel, the Indian contingent were greeted with a rousing welcome by fans present outside and within the premises.

The final will be played at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on November 19, where India takes on the winner of the second semi-final Australia and South Africa, which will be held at Kolkata today.
