Former Pakistan Cricketer Accuses Rohit Sharma Of 'Toss Fixing' In Bizarre Allegation

Behind a highly successful entity lies a pack of haters and doubters. Some shallow and insecure individuals just cannot comprehend a person or team’s phenomenal success. The same has been the case with the Indian cricket team.

Rohit Sharma led squad prevailed over nemesis New Zealand to book a seat at the World Cup finals. Not only that, the host nation extended their unbeaten streak to 10 games to set up a unique record.

However, despite an authoritative display of skills and pure talent, a former Pakistan cricketer levelled an unjust and ridiculous allegation against Indian skipper Rohit Sharma.

Another allegation by EX-PAK cricketer

Former Pakistan pacer Sikander Bakht accused the Indian captain of ‘fixing toss’ on national television. He said that Rohit’s demeanor during the coin flip contest was unusual and different from other captains.

According to Bakht, Rohit deliberately tends to toss the coin afar so that the opposition captain cannot move to cross-check the given call. He later tweeted about the same and tagged BCCI and ICC, asking for an explanation.

Needless to say, the entire controversy seems a wrongful move to deviate attention from India’s complete dominance in world cricket. At every coin toss contest, the match referee and an additional representative mark their presence to ensure impartial conduct of the formality.

This has been a pattern from the cross-border nation’s side this whole tournament. Instead of appreciating the quality display of cricket, the so-called cricket experts are busy picking out unnecessary and delusional disparities.

Nonetheless, the Indian side is unfazed and focused on doing what they do best, which is winning. On 19th November, Rohit Sharma will look to lift the ultimate prize, which is the World Cup trophy, to silence the critics once and for all while reasserting the Indian side’s dominance in world cricket simultaneously.
