'Shame On You': Jonty Rhodes' Savage Response To X User Trying To Troll Him

In the age of the Internet and technology, trolling a celebrity has become a favourite pastime for people, who feed off negativity. More often than not cricketers became their most preferred target, given the reach and traction one would attract if he/she replied.

Recently, former South African player Jonty Rhodes shared a post on the social media platform 'X', where the cricketer could be seen seated in a restaurant in Bengaluru and eating, which did not go down well with a certain troll.

The user named 'IndiGenBharat' stated how Rhodes could have offered his driver food while commenting on his celebrity privilege.

Not one to back down, Rhodes responded back to the troll in quite a savage and 'Classy' manner, explaining how the driver was taking the picture, and that he had tea, which the cricketer paid for.

Here's what Rhodes said

"I have been sitting on this reply for a couple of days. The gentleman at my table is a stranger to me, and my driver was taking the picture. He did not eat, just ordered for me some of his favourite food. He just had tea, and yes, I did pay for it #shameonyou"

The 54-year-old has often spoken about his undying love of India and its culture and people, going as far as naming his daughter 'India', while his son with second-wife Melanie was born in Mumbai.
