Ahead of the exciting IPL 2025 clash between RCB and CSK, former cricketer Ajay Jadeja has warned the men in red to beware of the men in yellow. He argued that since Chennai has nothing to lose, they’ll come out all guns blazing to avenge the previous loss.

The last time RCB visited Chennai, they beat CSK by a comfortable margin of 50 runs. Since then, the Super Kings’ campaign has just gone downhill.

With 2 wins in 10 games, MS Dhoni’s men slipped to the bottom of the table and also became the first team to be eliminated from the playoff race. Regardless of their ill-form, Ajay Jadeja has urged RCB to stay vigilant.

Ajay Jadeja Urges RCB To Take CSK Seriously

RCB will host CSK in the 52nd match of the IPL 2025 season at the M.Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. The Challengers’ record at home hasn’t been perfect, as they’ve won only 1 out of the 4 games played at home.

Hence, former cricketer Ajay Jadeja has urged RCB to be vigilant and not take CSK lightly. He argued that Chennai have nothing to lose, and they are bound to snap out of their losing streak at some point.

"Emotionally speaking, if CSK are not winning so many matches in a row, they have to win some time or the other, and RCB should be afraid of that. RCB are playing good, there is no doubt about that, but do not count out CSK. Against PBKS, if those last two overs had gone well, it would have been a different game altogether," Jadeja said on Star Sports.

The upcoming game against RCB could be a golden opportunity for CSK to get back to winning ways owing to Bengaluru’s problematic record at home.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru, meanwhile, need 2 victories to qualify for the playoffs. With 7 wins in 10 games, they jumped to third position on the points table.

Phil Salt’s Availability Uncertain For CSK Clash

RCB’s explosive opener Phil Salt missed the match against Delhi Capitals due to fever. He has been key to RCB’s success this season, and his absence was clearly felt. Jacob Bethell replaced him and made a quick 12 off 6 balls.

Now, with a big match against CSK coming up, Devdutt Padikkal shared that Salt is in touch with the medical team, and while he doesn't know the full details, he’s hopeful. So, there's still a chance that Salt could be back for the big game.
