India registered a memorable win in the final of the T20 World Cup 2024 by beating South Africa by seven runs. The win brought a wave of joy across the country, with everyone joining in to congratulate and celebrate Rohit Sharma's Team India. 

However, Riyan Parag has now come under the scanner for his comment before the start of the World Cup that he doesn't even want to watch the World Cup, and he will just see who wins the Cup.

 Riyan said this in an interview to Bharat Army and in reply, Sreesanth, the former Indian cricketer has bashed the Assam cricketer after India's World Cup win.  

The former pacer stated that there are some players who said that they will not even watch the World Cup and added that the young players should first learn to be patriotic and not be selfish by just concentrating on their own selection.
