Chennai Super Kings suffered their second defeat in the IPL against Sunrisers Hyderabad, led by world champion Pat Cummins. Following two wins at Chepauk, CSK faced losses in both away games to Delhi and SRH.

Aakash Chopra praises Sunrisers Hyderabad for their outstanding bowling display, limiting CSK's batting momentum. Pat Cummins and his men showcased their bowling versatility, breaking CSK's scoring momentum, particularly crucial in breaking Shivam Dube's spin dominance. CSK only managed 46 runs off 38 balls, thanks to SRH's impeccable performance.

Despite a promising start, CSK fell short of expectations as they were anticipated to score over 180 runs. However, SRH's exceptional bowling performance restricted CSK to 165 runs.

"Ultimately, in the last 5-7 overs, it seemed like the Chennai Express' wheels had got stuck. They went crawling until the 20-over mark, whether it was Ravindra Jadeja or Daryl Mitchell. Moeen Ali didn't get to bat and Mahi (MS Dhoni) came for just two or three balls. It just did not get going," the former India opener  spoke out in his YouTube channel.

Aakash Chopra commended Pat Cummins for his brilliant captaincy and strategic bowling changes, which played a pivotal role in SRH's success in restricting CSK to a modest score. Chopra praised Cummins' leadership .

"Pat Cummins' captaincy was good. He didn't let them see spin at all after 10 overs. They did a lot of bowling by rotating their fingers over the ball. Everyone, including him, did that, and everybody was economical," he explained in his YouTube channel.

SRH is currently at 5th position in the points table. They will face Punjab Kings in their next match at Mohali.
