Among the Indian Premier League (IPL 2024) fever, the spotlight has again found the Delhi Capitals (DC) opener Prithvi Shaw. It is reported that the 24-year-old prolific batter is travelling with an unknown girl; but who is she?

Ahead of DC's clash against Mumbai Indians, scheduled for Sunday at the Wankhede Stadium, Shaw was seen travelling with actress-model Nidhi Tapadia. It is understood that the duo has been seeing each other for some time now, but neither of them has confirmed it yet.

However, a while back, Shaw posted a picture with Tapadia, where he mentioned her as wife.

Prithvi Shaw's story with Nidhi Tapadia

The 26-year-old actress-model was born on 13 September 1997 in Maharashtra. She first came to limelight for her cameos in the famous crime drama, CID, back in 2016. 

Since then, Tapadia has featured in various Punjabi movies and albums, including numbers with Gippy Grewal, Tony Kakkar and Kulwinder Billa.

She currently has 131K followers on her Instagram handle, where she posts photoshoots of her work. 

As per the actress' latest Instagram story, she is staying near Mumbai's state-of-the-art Gateway of the India. Meanwhile, the DC team are residing in The Taj Mahal Palace, Mumbai - which is near the Gateway of the India. 

Nevertheless, Shaw had to warm the DC's bench for their first two matches, before playing his first game of the season against Chennai and smashing a blistering 27-ball 43. However, the explosive batter failed against Kolkata. 

He would like to come good against MI at his home ground and end the undue debate around his bad form.
