On Sunday, October 27, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) made important changes as they named Mohammad Rizwan as the new white-ball skipper. Further, the Mohsin Naqvi-led board also announced the list of central contracts for the upcoming year.
In the central contract, Babar Azam and Rizwan were the only two players in the A category, while Shaheen Afridi faced a demotion and was placed in the B category. However, Fakhar Zaman hogged the internet as his name was missing from the list.

Zaman, who is one of the key players in the ODI set-up for the Men in Green, was marred with controversy after he posted a tweet criticising the PCB over their unfair treatment of Babar Azam.
Zaman was served a show-cause notice, but now it seems he has paid a heavy price for his actions. Not just the central contract, but Pakistan announced the ODI and T20I squads for the upcoming tours to Australia and Zimbabwe, and Zaman's name was missing.
