Kuldeep Yadav Reveals India Star's Name Who's Taken Rohit Sharma's Seat On Team Bus

India's spin wizard, Kuldeep Yadav has revealed the name of the person who now sits on Rohit Sharma's seat on India Team bus. Rohit retired from Test cricket last month ahead of the England tour and the team named a new leader in Shubman Gill.

With Rohit's departure, his place on the team bus was also vacant but Kuldeep revealed that he is the one who has occupied Rohit's place on the team bus and the spinner has justified his actions by giving a tactical reason.

"Uspe main baithta hu (I sit there). I can never take Rohit bhai's place. It's just that I am spending more time with Jaddu bhai. It's important as a spinner for me because Ash bhai is not there. I have learnt a lot from him. When I started my cricket, I have played with both of them. Very lucky to have Jadeja as my spin partner. I am enjoying it," Kuldeep said, as quoted by India Today.

Rohit was a popular figure on the team bus and his absence is dearly felt as the young Indian side embarks on a new journey.

Will Kuldeep Yadav get a game on England tour?

Kuldeep Yadav last played a Test match in England during the 2018 tour and was not the preferred spinner in the 2021 tour. Since his Test debut, Kuldeep has played just two Tests in SENA countries and his chances once again look bleak in the upcoming tour. 

Team India squad has three main spinners - Kuldeep Yadav, Ravindra Jadeja and Washington Sundar and with the England conditions favouring the pacers, only one spinner will get a nod in the playing XI.

Both Jadeja and Sundar can provide batting depth on bowling-friendly decks but Kuldeep is a natural wicket-taker and will be more useful against the ultra-aggressive English batters.
