ICC chairman Jay Shah has been an endearing presence during the IPL 2025 curtain call match where RCB lifted their maiden title for the first time in 18 years. However, his presence in the WTC Final was slammed because of his uncanny exit from the stage during South Africa's celebration.
Shaking off the internet criticism, Shah was again seen gracing the Major League Cricket 2025 (MLC) on the eve of June 15 at Oakland Coliseum, California. Adding to the starry presence, India's legendary spinner Anil Kumble was also there to attend the game alongside Shah.

The official Instagram handle of MLC shared a video of Jay Shah attending the games with Anil Kumble. The video was captioned, "@icc Chairman @jayshah220988 paid us a special visit tonight." In the video, Shah was seen greeting the officials and waving at the crowd while Kumble was in his usual humble appearance smiling and conversing with the administrators.

Details On MLC 2025
For the unaware, the MLC 2025 is an exclusive league held in the U.S. It began on June 12 with a high-profile clash between defending champions Washington Freedom and San Francisco Unicorns.
The tournament will conclude on July 13 with the final at Grand Prairie Stadium in Dallas, which will host 16 out of 34 matches, including all knockouts. Central Broward Stadium in Lauderhill will make its MLC debut, hosting matches including a July 4 double-header.
The six participating teams are Washington Freedom, San Francisco Unicorns, MI New York, Los Angeles Knight Riders, Texas Super Kings, and Seattle Orcas. Four of these teams are backed by IPL franchises, with the GMR group (co-owners of Delhi Capitals) owning the Orcas.
