In RCB vs DC WPL final, fans were treated to one of the most bizarre dismissals. Alice Capsey, representing Delhi Capitals, managed to lose her wicket in an utterly unconventional manner that left spectators shocked.

At the end of the 7th over, Delhi Capitals were doing well at 64-0, thanks to Shefali Varma and Meg Lanning. But then, RCB's captain, Smriti Mandhana, brought in Molineux to bowl the 8th over. Right away, Mandhana's move paid off as Molineux got Shefali out on the very first ball. And shockingly, Jemimah Rodrigues got out on the next ball too, leaving Delhi Capitals at 64-2.

It was now up to Alice Capsey to steady the ship with Lanning. But instead of playing it safe, she tried a fancy shot and got out for a duck, making it two finals in a row where she failed to score. 

Capsey attempted a lap sweep, but Molineux was one step ahead. She cleverly reduced the speed of the ball, causing it to deviate from Capsey's shot. As a result, the ball hit the leg-stump,  bails are down.

The turn of events was nothing short of chaotic. In the blink of an eye, Delhi Capitals went from a promising 64-0 to  64-3.  Soon after, Meg Lanning was dismissed by Shreyanka, adding to Delhi Capitals' woes. The collapse was sudden and unexpected, leaving fans in disbelief. While credit is due to Smriti Mandhana and RCB for their exceptional bowling and fielding efforts, it was Alice Capsey's reckless shot that plunged Delhi into deep trouble.

As one of the team's most talented batters, Capsey was expected to anchor the innings and play a vital role. However, her dismissal in such an immature manner added to Delhi's woes. It was a missed opportunity for Capsey to showcase her talent and guide Delhi Capitals through the tough situation. Capsey kicked off the season with a brilliant batting performance in the opener against Mumbai. Unfortunately, her season concluded in a catastrophic manner.
