Australia's T20I captain, Mitchell Marsh who was rehabilitating from the hamstring injury during IPL is yet to bowl in the ongoing ICC T20 World Cup but has declared himself fit and available to bowl in the Super Eights. Glenn Maxwell has also shown some self-confidence to come good with the bat in the upcoming matches.

The Aussies have had a comfortable group stage journey in the ongoing T20 World Cup after winning four games on the trot without any issues across the three facets.

Marsh set to bowl Vs Bangladesh

Captain Marsh, recently talked about the conversation between him and in form Marcus Stoinis while also giving a piece of good news to the Australian supporters,

"I'll be available to bowl. With the line-up that we've got, I don't really necessarily see a need for me to bowl, but I think it's really important in this format to have options and we're blessed with plenty of those. As all-rounders, I always talk to Stoinis about how we love being involved in the game."

On the other hand, Glenn Maxwell, who has been struggling with the bat since the IPL has reassured the fans about the self-confidence that he has in himself to score important runs whenever the team needs him in the World Cup,

"For me and Mitch, we got a lot of confidence out of that England game for the role we played. Even though it's a small sample size we still feel like we played our role. I still feel really good. I've been hitting the ball pretty well."

"It's just been really hard to get that rhythm and momentum in the middle order after our openers go out there and pump it all over the place. Only Stoin has been consistently smashing. Having someone like him below gives me confidence," Maxwell added.

Australia will be playing their first Super Eight game against Bangladesh on Thursday night at the North Sound followed by Afghanistan and India clashes.
