BCCI honorary secretary Jay Shah continues to take Indian cricket global. Following his backing for the Indian cricket team during the T20 World Cup 2024, Shah met NBA deputy commissioner Mark Tatum in a bid to explore new ideas and collaboration. 

Taking to X, Jay Shah shared a picture of his meeting with the NBA chief along with the Larry O'Brien Championship Trophy, marking the beginning of exciting times. 

"Had a fantastic meeting with Mark Tatum, the NBA Deputy Commissioner. It was great meeting you, Mark, and sharing knowledge. Exciting times ahead for the @NBA and @BCCI ! 🙌," Jay Shah said in his post on X.

Incidentally, ahead of eventual champions Team India's T20 World Cup 2024 warm-up match against Bangladesh, captain Rohit Sharma had his tryst with the NBA trophy at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York
