James Anderson is a legend of the game, and the man is now playing his final Test match at the iconic Lord's stadium where he made his Test debut 21 years ago. He picked one wicket in the first innings and then came out to bat at number 11 to partner the debutant Jamie Smith.

As he walked out to bat from the iconic passage through Lord's dressing room, the long room members gave him a much-deserved standing ovation. The whole Lord's stadium was also on its feet when he made his entry to the ground, but unfortunately for the fans, Jamie Smith departed on 70 soon after Anderson's arrival, and the legendary English cricketer could not face even a single ball.

Talking about the match, West Indies were bowled out for just 121 in the first innings with Gus Atkinson bagging a seven-wicket haul on debut. In reply, England scored 371 with five batters scoring fifties, Zak Crawley being the leading scorer with 76 at the top of the order.

Now, James Anderson would be eyeing a memorable finish in the second innings, by showing his vintage skills and he started off with a bang as well, knocking over the West Indies skipper with a deadly inswinger.
