A force of nature in white-ball cricket, Rishabh Pant blends audacity with flair to dismantle even the best of bowling attacks at will. Long hailed as a beast in T20 cricket, Pant’s fearlessness and charismatic strokeplay has made him a nightmare for bowlers, regardless of playing conditions on offer.

Celebrating Rishabh Pant’s career, here is a look at some of his highest individual scores in T20 cricket.

3. Rishabh Pant 116* vs Himachal Pradesh, January 2018

Rishabh Pant, at the age of 20, plundered 116 unbeaten runs off just 38 deliveries against Himachal Pradesh bowlers in a North Zone Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy match back in January 2018. Into his third season for Delhi in Indian domestic cricket, Pant’s blitzkrieg made lightwork of Himachal Pradesh’s 144-run total.

The blistering wicketkeeper-batter launched eight boundaries and 12 huge sixes in his innings, and crafted an unbeaten 148-run partnership with senior opening partner Gautam Gambhir. As one can expect, Delhi romped home to a comfortable 10-wicket win, doing so with 50 balls still intact in the game.

The innings marked Rishabh Pant’s maiden T20 century, and fast-tracked him into Test and ODI debuts for the Indian cricket team later that year.

2. Rishabh Pant 118* vs RCB, May 2025

With pride on the line, and in desperate need for some individual runs under his belt, Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) skipper Rishabh Pant ransacked the visiting RCB bowlers at Lucknow’s Ekana Stadium with utmost precision. Batting at number three and arriving to the crease inside the powerplay, the cricketer belted 11 boundaries and eight sizzling maximums on his way to smoking 118 unbeaten runs from just 61 deliveries.

Taking just 54 balls to reach his landmark century, the innings marked Pant’s only third T20 hundred, and his first since the 2018 edition of the IPL. His 152-run partnership with Australia-based opener Mitchell Marsh helped LSG mount 227-3 from 20 overs after being put into bat first.

1. Rishabh Pant 128* vs SRH, May 2018

Playing for Delhi Daredevils (now Delhi Capitals) in his third IPL season, wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant walloped Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) with 128* runs from just 63 balls at the Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium in Delhi around the halfway stage of IPL 2018.

Batting at number four and joining his captain Shreyas Iyer in just the fifth over of the match, Pant took on the likes of Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Shakib Al Hasan and Rashid Khan to lift Daredevils to a monumental 187-5 from 20 overs. Whacking 15 fours and seven huge sixes in his thunderous batting effort, the next biggest benefactor of the Daredevils innings in the game turned out to be a mere 24-run act from Harshal Patel.

Nonetheless, lack of batting assistance from others, and a collective failure from the bowling unit ensured the SRH shrugged off its huge target with more than an over to spare.
