Rishabh Pant has not been in great form in IPL 2025, but he is a quality player and displayed signs of getting back to his best with a cameo in the last match against Gujarat Titans. The innings probably gave him confidence, and the wicketkeeper batter has now smashed a brilliant 54-ball hundred to stamp his authority against in-form RCB.

The LSG skipper walked out to bat at number 3 over Nicholas Pooran. The brave call did not work last time around, but in this match, Pant came out with great intent and started off with a trademark six. He smashed two more fours in the same over and never let the pressure of an early wicket affect the scoring rate of LSG.
He continued his onslaught in the middle overs, and finally reached his century in the 18th over with a boundary against Bhuvneshwar Kumar. Pant looked relieved after the ton, and followed it up with a Somersault celebration. His return to form is not only a good news for LSG camp, but also for Men in Blue ahead of the Test series against England.
It was his second century in IPL, and he stayed unbeaten on 118, taking his team to a massive total of 227 in their 20 overs. The knock was a much-needed one for Rishabh Pant to justify the tag of most expensive player in the history of IPL.

RCB, on the other hand, have found themselves in a tricky position now. They need to win this game to finish in top-2, while the loss will put them in the Eliminator alongside Mumbai Indians. Jitesh's bowling changes did not work against the likes of Pant and Marsh, and they would need a special batting effort to get over the line now.
