It was a shocking start to Sunday in the USA, as shots were fired at former president & Republican candidate Donald Trump. 

Notably, Trump was addressing a rally in Pennsylvania when the assassination attempt occurred as one of the bullets pierced through his right ear.

The former president is eyeing his second term as he previously served as USA president from 2017-21. Talking about Trump and his Presidency tenure, let's revisit the time he visited India in 2020 and addressed the public at The Narendra Modi Stadium. 

At that time, Trump went viral on the internet as he tried talking about cricket but goofed up while pronouncing the names of Sachin Tendulkar & Virat Kohli.  

During that famous speech, Trump called Sachin as 'Suchin' and Virat as 'Virot'.

 "This is a country where your people cheer for some of the world's greatest cricketers from Suchin Tendulkar to Virot Kohli, the greatest in the world."

When Trump visited the Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, around 1 lakh people were present in the stadium and the crowd erupted as soon as he mentioned Virat and Sachin's name. 

Last year, Trump was also spotted with MS Dhoni, where the two engaged in a game of golf when Thala was on vacation to USA. 

The 2024 US Presidential elections will take place on November 5, where Trump is standing against current President Joe Biden, who is a representative for the Democratic Party.
