After the 4th T20I, Jaiswal engaged with fans at Harare Sports Club. One fan asked how he maintained his form despite not playing a match in the T20 World Cup.

"I just enjoyed my processes and being a part of a World Cup champion team," he told one of the fans in a video shared by the BCCI. "I learned a lot. I was excited for my chances. I wanted to try my best and make sure I was contributing for my team."-Jaiswal said.

Jaiswal was part of the World Cup-winning squad for India, but he didn’t play a single match during the T20 World Cup, as Kohli and Rohit were the opening pair for the tournament.

Jaiswal mentioned that playing domestic cricket and in the IPL helped him maintain his form, despite not participating in the T20 World Cup.
