Legendary allrounder Yuvraj Singh excluded India's most successful captain, MS Dhoni, from his all-time playing XI.

On Saturday, India Champions displayed remarkable skill and resilience to stun their Pakistani counterparts and secure a commanding five-wicket win in the WCL 2024 final. 

After leading the Indian team to the title, skipper Yuvraj Singh had a brief chat with the broadcasters following the game's conclusion. 


Yuvraj picks Kohli, Rohit, ignores Dhoni in his all-time XI

During a Q&A session, the anchor asked Yuvraj to pick his all-time best playing XI. While the legendary southpaw picked several Indian batting stalwarts- Sachin Tendulkar, Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma, he ignored his long-time friend and India's World Cup-winning skipper MS Dhoni. 

Barring Tendulkar, Kohli and Rohit, AB de Villiers, Ricky Ponting, Shane Warne, Glenn McGrath, Wasim Akram and Muttiah Muralitharan were some legendary cricketers to find a place in the team. Meanwhile, Yuvraj picked Adam Gilchrist over Dhoni as his wicket-keeper. 

England's Andrew Flintoff was included as the fast bowling allrounder, while Yuvraj kept himself as the twelfth man. 

Meanwhile, Yuvraj Singh-led India Champions secured an emphatic victory in the WCL 2024 final to clinch the title. 

Chasing 157, India lost Robin Uthappa and Suresh Raina cheaply before excellent knocks from Ambati Rayudu, Gurkeerat Singh Mann, and Yusuf Pathan guided them to glory.
