The Kiwis have won the opening game of the World Cup 2023 against their 2019 final rivals, England. Rachin Ravindra, the Kiwi opener smashed a hundred on his World Cup debut. Now that Rachin has scored a hundred against the top-quality side, the cricket fans are going crazy and want to know more about him.

The Indian fans are pretty excited about knowing his ancestors and background as he has an Indian origin. Rachin's father used to live in Bengaluru's Jayanagar and is a software system architect. Back in the 1990s, his family moved to New Zealand.

What is the relation of Rachin Ravindra with India's Sachin Tendulkar and Rahul Dravid:

Rachin's father was an Indian and a huge cricket fan. Being an Indian, he admired the God and Wall of cricket, Sachin Tendulkar and Rahul Dravid. He was a huge fan of both batters  while his mother too was huge fan of both legendary Indian batters and when their son Rachin was born, they combined the name of Sachin and Rahul to give an unique name for their beloved son.

Rachin exactly came from the 'Ra' of Rahul and 'Chin' of Sachin, which shows how much Rachin's parents were into the sport and especially the great batters of Indian cricket. They must be very proud and overwhelmed seeing their son doing wonders in the cricket World.

Rachin Ravindra scored 123 off just 96 deliveries and also picked up an important wicket of Harry Brook in today's game. He has joined the club of hitting a century on the World Cup debut, the record of which Virat Kohli is also a part.

In the warm-up game against Pakistan, Rachin Ravindra smashed 97 and with a hundred in the first game of the World Cup, he has announced himself on the greatest stage of the sport.
