Gujarat Cricket Association To Set Up 6 Mini ICUs In The Stadium For 2023 World Cup

India is pumped up to host the World Cup 2023, and the world's biggest stadium will also be hosting the opener and the final. The Narendra Modi Stadium is expected to host over one lakh fans in the high-voltage clashes. 

With these many people in the stands, there should be proper arrangements and security for everyone. To ensure this, the Gujarat Cricket Association have taken a few steps to make it a pleasant experience for the fans, as well as the players. 

With over 3,000 policemen and 600 private security officials, the stadium is set to host the opening game on the 5th of October between the finalists of the 2019 edition, England and New Zealand. 

However, the stadium could expect 1,32,000 fans from all over the world to witness the high-voltage India vs Pakistan game. GCA will have police personnel of around 4,000 policemen with over 800 private security officials. 

Gujarat Cricket Association sets standards by putting up ICUs for the fans

The GCA has decided to set up six ICUs in the stadium for the fans. With over one lakh people, they will have the help ready if something happens. The evacuation and other security drills have been practised, and it is believed that it will take just half an hour to vacate the stadium in case of any mishap. 

The much-awaited clash, India vs Pakistan, will be taking place on the 14th of October, and fans from all over the world will be coming to be a part of this epic clash. The security for this game is expected to be high and strict to keep things smooth.
