Since his debut in international cricket, Pakistani superstar Babar Azam has been constantly compared with legendary Indian batter Virat Kohli. Besides being consistent, Kohli and Babar have uncanny similarities in several areas, the most prominent being their stroke play. Although they can play shots all around the park, Kohli and Babar have a special liking for the cover drive, a glorious textbook shot, which they use to score a majority of their runs. Therefore, there has been constant debate between the fans from India and Pakistan about who plays the shot more aesthetically. 

Meanwhile, legendary West Indies cricketer Ian Bishop has settled the debate with a gem of an answer. 

In a Q&A session during Beyond The Stumps, organised by OneCricket, Bishop reckoned that both Kohli and Babar play the cover drive with equal elegance, admitting himself to be a huge fan of both.

"It's a tie. If I have the option of both, I am going with both because I switch my television on and both are my favourites."

Kohli and Babar will be up against each other in the upcoming Indo-Pak clash in the Asia Cup commencing on August 30. 

Talking about India, the Men in Blue will collide with West Indies in the fourth T20I of the five-match series in Florida on August 12.
