ICC Releases Revised World Cup Schedule, India vs Pakistan Clash Preponed To October 14

In a significant development, the International Cricket Council has released the revised schedule for the upcoming World Cup in India. Nine games, including the high-voltage India vs Pakistan clash, have been rescheduled. 

England’s second group-stage fixture against Bangladesh, earlier scheduled for 2.00 PM IST, has been rescheduled for 10.30 AM. Their third group-stage game against Afghanistan has been postponed by one day, with the final match against Pakistan being preponed to November 11. 

Besides the England and India face-offs, Pakistan’s second group-stage fixture against Sri Lanka has been rescheduled, being postponed to October 10. 

The mega clash between Australia and South Africa, earlier scheduled for October 13, has been preponed by one day to October 12. 

The other rescheduled games are New Zealand vs Bangladesh (preponed from October 14 to 13), Australia vs Bangladesh (preponed from November 12 to 11) and India vs Netherlands (postponed from November 11 to 12).

  • India vs Pakistan- October 14, 2.00 PM IST
  • England vs Afghanistan- October 15, 2.00 PM IST
  • Australia vs Bangladesh- November 11, 10.30 AM IST
  • England vs Pakistan- November 11, 2.00 PM IST
  • India vs Netherlands- November 12, 2.00 PM IST
