After leading India to a 1-0 Test series victory in West Indies and launching his cricket academy in the USA, Indian captain, Rohit Sharma, has returned to his home turf, Mumbai.

The dynamic batter made quite the entrance, cruising through the city streets in his opulent Lamborghini Urus, valued at Rs 4.2 crore, with wife Ritika Sajdeh by his side.

A video of the star-studded duo emerging from the dual-toned Ross Alala (cherry red) and Nero (black) interiors of the SUV has taken social media by storm.  The couple is seen visiting an Adidas store in the city, a brand that Rohit endorses.

Fans were particularly enamoured by the vehicle's distinctive “Blu Eleos” exterior that reasonates with both Team India's jersey and Rohit's IPL franchise Mumbai Indians.

The excitement of Rohit’s massive fanbase in Mumbai was evident as they thronged around the SUV, eager for a brief interaction or a cherished picture with the skipper.


Meanwhile, with Rohit on a well-earned sabbatical, the leadership reins have been passed to Hardik Pandya in the ongoing five-match T20I series against West Indies.

After the Caribbean assignment ends, India will tour Ireland for a three-match T20I series where the team will be led by Jasprit Bumrah, who’s making a return after a long injury layoff.

Rohit’s break will is short-lived as he has to gear up for the all-important Asia Cup 2023. Set to be played in Sri Lanka and Pakistan, Team India, under Rohit's leadership, will kick off their campaign with an exciting clash against arch-rivals, Pakistan. 

Slated for September 2nd in of Kandy, Sri Lanka, the encounter is eagerly awaited by the cricketing community.
