Chennai Super Kings, on Tuesday, May 30th, defeated the Gujarat Titans by five wickets in a last-ball thriller at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad, to lift their fifth IPL title, tying up with Mumbai Indians in terms of trophy counts.

However, had it not been for Ravindra Jadeja's heroics, who hammered a six followed by a four in the last two balls when CSK required 10 runs off the final two deliveries, the win would have been out of the Super Kings' reach.

Once the CSK all-rounder smashed the winning runs, leading Chennai Super Kings to their fifth IPL title, the team's captain, MS Dhoni couldn't contain his emotions as he rushed onto the field and lifted Ravindra Jadeja high in the air.

In the midst of ongoing rumors regarding a conflict between MS Dhoni and Ravindra Jadeja, the latest Instagram DP of the latter has put an end to all speculations.

As a tribute to Chennai's sensational victory in the IPL 2023 final, Jadeja updated his Instagram DP to a special picture when Dhoni lifted him up in the air. Take a look at his Instagram profile:

Moreover, in the post-match conference, the CSK all-rounder humbly dedicated this remarkable win to his beloved captain, MS Dhoni:

"Want to dedicate this win to one of the special members of our team - MS Dhoni. I was just thinking that I need to swing hard no matter what. Yeah anything can happen. I was looking to hit straight because Mohit can bowl slower ones. Want to say congratulations to each and every fan of CSK. Just keep cheering the way you've been cheering,”

Jadeja also extended his heartfelt thanks to all the fans who stood by them throughout, including the tough times when rain halted the gameplay a day earlier, and showed up in great numbers to show their support. Here’s what he said:

"Feeling amazing winning a fifth title in front of my home crowd. They've come in big numbers to support CSK. This crowd has been amazing. They were waiting for the rain to stop till late at night. Want to say big congratulations to CSK fans,”

Stephen Fleming, the head coach of Chennai Super Kings, also showered Ravindra Jadeja with special accolades for his exceptional finish for CSK. He also acknowledged his comeback in the red-ball cricket, stating:

"They say there are no fairy tales in the sport, but it was a pretty good one today. It has been a bit difficult 18 months where, as the captaincy was difficult, the injury was difficult, it took a bit of time from out of the game for him to come back into and be reintegrated into the Test side, and then re-integrate into CSK.”
