Former Indian cricketer, Aakash Chopra, has recently revealed his pick for the impact player of the Lucknow Super Giants team in the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) season of 2023.
While speaking on his YouTube channel, Chopra made a surprising choice by selecting the veteran spin bowler Amit Mishra as the impact player of Lucknow Super Giants in the upcoming season. He emphasized that Mishra's contributions will be vital for the team's bowling department and expressed confidence that he will be included in the starting lineup if the team is fielding first.

The former Indian opener further acknowledged the absence of Mohsin Khan as a significant loss for the team, as the pacer's performances were instrumental in their success in the previous season. He also highlighted that Avesh Khan, who replaced Mohsin Khan in the team, needs to continue his upward trajectory to mitigate the potential bowling concerns for the team.
“Mohsin Khan's absence will be felt because he did extremely well last year. Avesh Khan went down, you want him to follow an upward trajectory. There might be some potential concerns in bowling."
