Indian skipper Shafali Verma is confident ahead of their blockbuster clash with England at the finals of the Under-19 Women's T20 World Cup on Sunday.

Verma will hope to lead the Indian side to the coveted World title that has eluded them since the very beginning. The senior women's team have previously managed to get to the finals of a World Cup, but they couldn't get their hands on the trophy.

Verma was part of the Indian side that reached the T20 World Cup 2020 finals, but they lost a one-sided battle against the home team - Australia. However, the Indian skipper is geared up for yet another final and is confident ahead of the big clash.

"The feeling is very good because whatever the plans we have done that in the practice session," Verma said.

"They are very excited to play in the final. We are just thinking of backing each other in the final. We are going to enjoy it and give our hundred percent."

"It's about going out there and enjoying the game. I've told the teammates 'don't stress, just give your 100 percent without thinking of it as the final. Just believe in yourself."

"It's all past and that cannot be recreated. We are determined to bring the World Cup this time and are trying to improve day by day."

India have had a great Under-19 T20 World Cup so far. They brushed aside New Zealand women in the semi-finals, and will be riding high on confidence ahead of the final.
