BBL 2022-23: Marcus Harris re-joins Melbourne Renegades for BBL 12

Out of favour, Australian Test opener Marcus Harris has re-signed with Big Bash League (BBL) franchise Melbourne Renegades for the 2022-23 edition. Both parties have penned a one-year deal, keeping the batter till the end of BBL 12.

​So far, in 48 BBL appearances for the Renegades since BBL 05, Harris has scored 970 runs with four half-centuries. Apart from being a solid top-order batsman, the left-hander is an asset on the ground as well as a fielder.

​Harris has been in top form this season in domestic cricket, scoring runs in both First-Class and List-A matches for Victoria. In going Sheffield Shield, Harris has scored 238 runs in two games, while in the Marsh Cup, he has managed 215 runs in four matches.

Captained by Nic Maddinson, the Renegades take on the Brisbane Heat on December 15 in their BBL 12 opening match.
