Dinesh Karthik backs Sarfaraz Khan and Baba Indrajith for India Test call-up

Indian domestic cricket lately has witnessed a rise in talents which holds well for the future. The last edition of the RanjiTrophy 2021-22 saw the phenomenal rise of Sarfaraz Khan, who slammed 982 runs, including four tons and two fifties.

Khan, a batting prodigy from Mumbai, notched up a hundred in today's concluded Irani Cup 2022 match, helping his side Rest Of India secure a win over Saurashtra.

Apart from Khan, this year has been fruitful for Tamil Nadu's Baba Indrajith. The 28-year-old scored 396 runs in just three matches, which saw him score a century in each game.

He was the second-highest (325) run-scorer for Tamil Nadu in the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2022, behind Dinesh Karthik (376), where they lost to Himachal Pradesh in the final.

Karthik, currently with the Indian team, tweeted in support of Khan and Indrajith to be included in India's Test setup soon while congratulating Rajat Patidar and Mukesh Kumar for their maiden ODI call-up for Men in Blue.

Khan, will represent Mumbai in the upcoming Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2022, while Indrajith has been dropped from Tamil Nadu side.
