The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has announced England Men's Test playing XI for the third and final Test against South Africa beginning tomorrow.

As expected, Yorkshire's Harry Brook walks into the XI, replacing the injured Jonny Bairstow, from the winning side that featured in Manchester Test.

Bairstow suffered a freak injury while playing golf over the weekend, which ruled him out of the remaining Test and also the upcoming  ICC T20 World Cup in Australia in October.

The talented middle-order batter scored a magnificent 140 against the South African attack in a tour match ahead of the series.

Brook made his T20I debut in January 2022 and has featured in four matches for his country. The Yorkshire-born has played 56 FC, 15 List A, and 83 T20 games, accumulating 5,535 runs with nine centuries and 26 fifties across formats.
