Cars and bikes have always been an attraction for sporting personalities, and cricketers aren't any different. From Sachin Tendulkar's love for Formula 1 cars to Virat Kohli's admiration for luxury cars, what stands out is former Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni's passion for motorbikes.

A more niche kind of hobby, Dhoni has had a fascination for both old-school and new-age bikes, ever since his college days, which continues even today. The automobile enthusiast owns a large array of bikes, which are held in a glass-made museum at his Ranchi house that holds his rare and most cherished collection.

Dhoni is often seen riding his bike in and out of his house and prefers to travel on his two-wheelers. Such is Dhoni's dedication, that the five-time Indian Premier League (IPL) captain with Chennai Super Kings (CSK) manages, cleans, and maintains all his bikes and cars himself not relying on others.

Here's the list of some of the rarest motorbikes that Dhoni owns

Yamaha RD 350s, Yamaha RX100, Suzuki Shogun, Harley Davidson Fatboy, Yamaha Thundercat, BSA Goldstar, Norton Jubilee 250, Ducati 1098, Apache RTR 300 FX, Confederate Hellcat X132, TVS Ronin, Kawasaki Ninja H2 and Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14R.

One of the utlra-rarest bikes on the planet, Dhoni was the first owner of the Hellcat from India, and most likely the entire subcontinent. The bike is named after a WWII fighter plane, the X132 Hellcat, which costs around 50 Lakhs INR.

BSA Goldstar

An admirer of old-school bikes, Dhoni owns a BSA Goldstar, that created waves back in the 1950s. Manufactured by Birmingham Small ArMS Company, the Goldstar was the first two-wheeler to reach speeds of 180 km\ph on a 500 CC engine.

Yahama Rajdoot RD350

One of the most iconic bikes of India, the RD 350 has a separate fan base amongst connoisseurs, much-like Dhoni. Dhoni, whose first bike was a Rajdoot, had several RD 350s in his collection, which includes two custom build versions' RD 350 LC and RD 350 (US edition).

Kawasaki Ninja H2

Much like several other bikes, Dhoni is also the first owner of the Kawasaki Ninja H2 in India. H2 Ninja is one of the most powerful bikes present out there in the market, and costs a whopping 1.6 Crore INR, which can go from 0 to 100 kmph in 3.62 seconds.

Ducati 1098

Dhoni is also a proud owner of the limited edition Ducati 1098 series, which was in commission between 2007 to 2009. The 1099 cc powered-engine bike was priced roughly around 25-30 Lakhs INR.

TVS Ronin

The newest entrant in Dhoni's galaxy of bikes is the TVS Ronin, which was presented to the CSK skipper ahead of IPL 2023. This is most likely Dhoni's second TVS bike after the Apache RR 310, which the cricketer was seen riding ahead of the IPL 2023 season.

Noteable Mention: Norton Jubilee 250

The antique bike dates back to the 1950s, and is powered by a 250 CC engine. It was estimated that only 5,000 Jubilees were built and were available in the market until 1966.
