Pakistan's star cricketer Babar Azam came out to bat in the ongoing second Test against South Africa on January 4, 2024. He opted to bat after the unfortunate injury to rising star Saim Ayub. The 22-year-old opener was ruled out of the match after suffering a severe ankle injury on Day 1 of the ongoing Test at Newlands.
