Vaibhav Suryavanshi is growing in stature with each passing game, and after his exploits at the junior level, the left-handed batter is showing his class in the Vijay Hazare Trophy. He is just 13-year-old and also has RR's IPL contract under his belt, and is now showing the world why he is rated so highly.

The young kid smashed his maiden List A fifty against Baroda recently while playing for Bihar. In that game he took on an experienced bowler like Krunal Pandya and in the next game, he showed flashes of his power against Bengal.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi Sizzles In Vijay Hazare Trophy

The Bengal team had bowlers like Mohammed Shami and Mukesh Kumar. Both are reputed international bowlers, and Vaibhav hit 26 off just 16 balls at the top of the order with three fours and two sixes.

The all boundaries were effortless ones, one six was a flick off his pads against Mukesh Kumar while the another six into the stands was a short-arm jab over long on. The shots brought back memories of Yuvraj Singh and his incredible hitting and it seems that Vaibhav Suryvanshi surely has the talent to deliver on the big stage.

Shami got the better of Vaibhav Suryavanshi eventually, and Bihar were bowled out for 235 while batting first with Mukesh Kumar picking two and Pradipta Pramanik bagging a three-wicket haul. In reply, Bengal chased down the target with ease, winning the game by six wickets as skipper Sudip Gharami scored unbeaten 107 to take his side over the line.
