India lifted their 2nd T20 World Cup title after a wait of 17 years as the Men in Blue beat South Africa by seven runs in the finals of the T20 World Cup 2024. 

Following the win, the Indian players got emotional and were seen hugging each other and their families. Meanwhile, a picture has gone viral on the internet where Indian skipper Rohit Sharma can be seen giving a kiss to Pandya on his cheeks after the historic win.

ICC also posted a video of Rohit celebrating T20 World Cup win with a kiss to Hardik Pandya on their Instagram account.

Royal Challengers Bangalore took to Twitter to post the emotional bond between the two MI players. 

"Just pure emotions. This is what the internet should promote, always!," wrote RCB. 

Notably, Hardik bowled the last over for India when South Africa required 16 runs to win. Pandya defended the total, and eventually, the Men in Blue registered a 7-run win to lift their 2nd title. 

Both Hardik and Rohit got emotional and could not hold back their tears of joy. It was during the post-match conversations when Rohit came from behind and gave a kiss to Hardik.
