India and England are currently locking horns for the final Test match of the series at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamshala. On Day 1 of the fifth Test match, England won the toss and chose to bat first as the hosts geared up for fielding.

The English opening duo of Crawley and Ben Dukket seemed clueless against the likes of Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj, but their eyes got set; they started taking the chances.

After giving respect in the initial overs of his spell, Crawley played one of the most elegant strokes present in the text book.

In the 12th over of the match, Siraj - in the eye to get a wicket - pitched the ball up but gave Crawley ample room in the offside. The English opener played a perfect cover drive and got on the front foot to smash it through mid off and covers.

Crawley, who played a brilliant hand the first two session, smashed his fourth fifty of the tour but was eventually foxed off Kuldeep Yadav's spellbinding delivery.

In this game, India and England are playing with only a single change in their squad. The English welcomed their experienced pacer Mark Wood in place of Ollie Robinson, and India introduced Devdutt Padikkal in place of an injured Rajat Patidar.

The ongoing Test match has become iconic as the ace spinner Ravichandran Ashwin and England's Jonny Bairstow are playing their 100th Test match. Meanwhile, the legendary Jimmy Anderson has ticked Dharamsala as his 50th venue to play a Test match.
