Virat Kohli is known for his animated gestures on the cricket field and he displayed glimpses of it yet again in the IPL 2024 curtain raiser between CSK and RCB. He gave an angry send off to young Rachin Ravindra who scored a fantastic 37 off 15 balls on his IPL debut.

RCB scored 173 after deciding to bat first after winning the toss courtesy of brilliant partnership between Anuj Rawat and Dinesh Karthik. In reply, CSK lost their skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad early, but Rachin Ravindra displayed great composure and class and smashed RCB bowlers with ease.

His knock though was cut short by Karn Sharma on the last delivery of the seventh when he handed a catch to Rajat Patidar at the deep. Now, a video has popped up where Kohli is seen signalling Rachin Ravindra to go away with an arrogant gesture.

Virat Kohli though could not make an impact with the bat in the first half and managed to score just 21 off 20 balls before falling to a brilliant tag-team effort from Ajinkya Rahane and Rachin Ravindra. He would be itching to get back into the form in the next game and get to his vintage consistent mood after missing out of Test series against England recently.
